Fall 2021 Wrap-up

Updated: Jul 28, 2022

Hello lovely SWEeties! As we are approaching the end of fall semester, we can look back on some of the semesters highlights. It's been an incredibly eventful semester for SWE.

We started the semester with a wonderful eSwamp. With guest speakers and fun activities like painting, it was a memorable event. Thank you to all of the chairs and eboard who helped plan and make it a success!

Fun was had at various parties and socials, such as the PJ Party, mentor reveal and pumpkin painting!

Eboard represented UF SWE at the SWE conference in Indianapolis!

New and returning members had a productive semester in both Team Tech and STEAM Team, progress being made in the former toward their final project at the end of the year, and STEAM Team further developing their planned art exhibit in the CADE Museum.

Fun collaborations with SHPE and Thrift Club gave SWEeties the chance to swap clothes and find new sustainable clothing, and play fun games with other fellow engineers!

Last but not least, a bit too much fun was had at GBM's :)

Thanks to everyone for coming out to all of the SWE events, and also thank you to Eboard for all their hard work! It has truly been a blast and such a fun semester. Come 2022, these blog posts will be much more regular (and also a bit shorter), so be sure to check back on future updates and monthly wrap-ups.

Wishing everyone good luck on finals, a relaxing rest of the year, and a great start to what will be a great new year!
